German design and quality characterizes the XL door canopy. Slim stainless steel support brackets, aluminium bars and acrylic glass have been combined with regards to both their appearance as well as function.
Although identical in design to the 950mm projection curved canopies, the brushed matt stainless steel arms are 50% thicker to handle the increased stresses from the 1420mm projection. The canopy has a width of 2050mm, a depth of 1420mm and a height of 250mm.
A hidden rubber joint prevents rain water from finding its way above the front door even when it rains heavily. This is achieved through the curvature of the glass which directs water towards a hidden rain gutter on the front of the canopy, where the water is then drained at the sides of the canopy.House-owners and builders can also choose between clear and frosted white, blue or green. The 6mm thick acrylic glass is completely weather and UV-resistant. As a whole the product is very durable.
The XL canopy is a larger version of the curved canopy, and available in one size only.
